A call of a violent domestic comes out and Officers are escorted into the home by the shirtless caller & homeowner. Entering the home, loud screams and thuds are heard and the officers run upstairs and find a male and female struggling on the floor of a bedroom. The male is pulled off of the female. Our officers interview the young couple and learn that they are engaged to be married and the male became jealous at a First Friday event earlier in the evening and escalated the fight upon coming home. The two admit to biting each other during the scuffle and the male admits to choking her as a means of ‘calming her down’. Both have bite marks and bruises, but the female has considerably more and is visibly shaken as she describes the evening to Officer Leavitt. She states the two have argued in the past, but this is the worst it has ever been. She still has hopes of marrying the man, despite the physical fight. The shirtless homeowner tells his side of the story as he eats his bologna sandwich and sips his Mountain Dew, explaining that there is no amount of good sex that will justify the fighting he has seen tonight. The male is booked for the domestic charges as well as a few warrants. The female is given information to help her secure a restraining order.
