Deputy Joshua Gabriel of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responds to call about a family disturbance. When Deputy Gabriel arrives he becomes the mediator in a father and son disagreement. Dad explains to Deputy Gabriel that he would like for his son to attend a family gathering but the teenage boy would like to go out with his friends instead. Deputy Gabriel encourages the teenage boy to bond with his family and reminds him that his dad only wants the best for him. He is caught off guard by the teenage boy’s well-articulated argument about how he does care about his dad and family. Deputy Gabriel lets the dad know that his son is on the right track and they just need to communicate better. In the end, Deputy Gabriel helps the family come together and the father and son hug it out.
