Deputy Jordyn Cobb responds to a domestic disturbance in progress between a man and a woman. Upon arriving on the scene, Deputy Cobb is forced to restrain an uncooperative belligerent woman. Once she is able to detain the woman, she talks with the male half who claims his girlfriend punched him multiple times. He has red marks on his face and is holding a torn t-shirt. He takes Deputy Cobb through his house, where there are signs that a struggle ensued. He states the argument began when he defended his mother after the woman said disparaging comments about her. Deputy Cobb tries to get the girlfriend’s side of the story, but she refuses and chooses to insult the deputies instead. The boyfriend does not wish to press charges, but due to the marks on his body, she is taken to jail for domestic battery.
