Toledo Police Department is Recruiting!

The Toledo Police Department will begin a Recruitment process soon. The City of Toledo Civil Service will be giving an exam to establish a list of potential candidates to be chosen for an upcoming Toledo Police Academy class. Those chosen, will attend a Toledo Police Department Training Academy and, upon completion of the class, will become Toledo Police Officers. The Civil Service exam date has been set for December 1, 2012. Please complete an interest card located at the Recruitment link of the Toledo Police Department’s website. When the Civil Service exam information is released, you will then be notified. Thank you.

Too bad I'm not 18 and done with high school yet :( I've always wanted to be a police officer ever since I was little. But when I am done with high school I am going to Blackhawk Technical college for their police academy there and I hope to be a police officer in Beloit, Wisconsin. :)

20 to be a police officer unfortunately, since you carry a handgun you must be at least 20... wish it was 18 so I could do the same lol

I would be interested but I have physical injuries from being on Active Duty Naval Service that would prevent me from being able to attend the academy.

Veteran U.S. Navy MP/Military Working Dog handler, currently about 1/3 of the way completed with a Michigan police academy. I'll be graduating mid-December. Will Toledo accept this training?
