Detectives Thomas Lynn and Marlan Meggers of A.C.E. (Auto Crimes Enforcement) run the plate of a mid 90’s Honda Accord and it comes back stolen. Detective Lynn follows the stolen vehicle in his unmarked car as he waits for units to arrive. The Honda Accord suddenly pulls over, and Detective Lynn pulls up behind it. After a brief standoff, the Honda Accord speeds off and the pursuit is on. The Honda Accord eventually gets caught in the afternoon traffic and a foot chase occurs. Detectives Lynn and Meggers tackle the young car thief. The suspect’s girlfriend shows up and Detective Meggers has a heart to heart with them both.
Detective Thomas Lynn of A.C.E. (Auto Crimes Enforcement) spots two passengers in a parked Dodge Ram truck with paper plates, who appear to be doing narcotics. Detective Lynn pulls up behind the Dodge and tells the driver to shut off the vehicle. Disregarding Lynn’s orders, the Dodge slowly pulls away prompting a car chase. Detective Lynn follows the truck into the back of a commercial building and crashes into a chain link fence. In a moment of desperation, the driver throws the Dodge into reverse and rams Detective Lynn’s vehicle causing his vehicle to be momentarily out of commission. Once he is able to get his vehicle restarted, Detective Lynn finds out that the driver had bailed his truck and is in custody. The Dodge Ram is discovered to be stolen. Inside the stolen Dodge Detective Lynn finds needles and other drug paraphernalia.
