Deputy Jones is dispatched to assist in an disturbance call between males. This is the third time Deputies have gone to this location today but were unable to locate anyone. Jones believes he knows the caller and has dealt with him before. Dispatch says caller may be armed with a knife. Arriving first, Jones recognizes a male walking up to him holding a large kitchen knife. The man claims he’s the one who called and complies with Jones orders to get on the ground. Placed in cuffs and speaking with a British accent, the man claims for the last couple of days strangers have been staying at his house. He claims that when deputies arrived earlier everyone left never to be seen. He also claims several strangers slashed the tires on his golf cart. Checking on his story, Jones along with back-up, check residence to find no evidence of strangers staying there. Jones also finds the cart did not sustain any damage. Since this was the third call to the location and knowing his past history with substance abuse, Deputies decide not take him to jail but place him on a 72 hours narcotics abuse hold so he can get some help.
